Volgograd’s athlete Valentina Kosolapova is a numerous times winner and medalist in junior and youth competitions.

In 2015 at the European Athletics Junior Championships won a gold medal in a triple jump.
In February 2017 at the Russian U23 Indoor championship there were no equals to her with the result of 13.41 meters.
In May 2018 at the Russian Team Athletics Championship achieved 2nd place and for the first time in her career jumped above 14 meters – 14.09.
In 2019 and 2020 became a bronze medalist at the Russian Indoor Athletics Championship.
