Eugenia Dushina studied at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna. She is a diploma winner of the Grand Prix Maria Callas, the Ferruccio Tagliavini, and the Glinka Competitions.

Eugenia’s career began eleven years ago in Klosterneuburg.

Eugenia has an exceptionally beautiful voice — strong, powerful, yet flexible, fresh, and marked by matte-silver dramatic tones. She transformed from a lyric soprano into a dramatic one, capable of taking on all the “bloody” roles. With operas by Verdi, Puccini, Cilea, Tchaikovsky, and Shostakovich, she captivated music lovers around the world. Critics described her performances of “Tosca” in Puccini’s eponymous opera and “Maria” in Tchaikovsky’s Mazeppa as “gems in the singer’s repertoire.”

Eugenia now sings primarily in Italian, German, French, and Russian operas, which require mastery of virtuosic bel canto.
