Officially, the results of the elections and the composition of the Athletes’ Committee were approved by the Executive Board of the ROC at its meeting on 24 November.

The seven-time Olympic champion in synchronized swimming Svetlana Romashina, along with other famous athletes, joined the ROC Athletes’ Commission.
