Varvara is a Russian synchronised swimmer, multiple champion of Russia. She competes in solo free, solo technical, duet free, duet technical, free routine combination, team, team free and team technical. Subbotina is a 4-times World champion (2017, 2019) and 3-times European champion (2018, 2021).
At the moment, Varvara has taken a break from performing at competitions, and is increasingly performing in shows of Olympic champions around the world.
