Education: Ballet Conservatory at Skyra
Yana Peneva began her dance training at age 2, she would walk past the ballet school every day on her family’s walks – «After seeing all the dancers, I wanted to try it!»
Since 2018, Yana has been training in the pre-professional program at the Ballet Conservatory at Skyra in Orlando, FL where she was introduced to the ballet competition world. In the 2020-2021 season, she has been awarded with prestigious awards such as the Shelley King Award at YAGP finals, 1st Place Gold Medal at ADCIBC finals, 2nd Place at UBC, 2nd Place at YAGP Semi Finals Tampa, FL (Highest placing junior female).
In 2022 Yana was honored to be awarded the Grand Prix at YAGP Tampa.
